Borders Region Option Sifting Update Report - Feb 2021 - STPR2
We're currently undertaking the second Strategic Transport Projects Review (STPR2) to inform the Scottish Government’s transport investment programme in Scotland over the next 20 years (2022 – 2042).
STPR2 takes a national overview of the transport network with a focus on regions and will help deliver the vision, priorities and outcomes that are set out in the new National Transport Strategy (NTS2).
The purpose of this report is to provide an update on the status of the Borders Transport Corridors: Pre-Appraisal (published 2019) and its alignment with STPR2, such that combined they effectively constitute the Borders region’s Initial Appraisal: Case for Change study.
