31 October – 12 November 2021

The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow 31 October – 12 November 2021.

Together with partners, we have been working together over the past year developing a comprehensive Transport Plan for COP26.

Our overall aim is to help deliver a safe and reliable experience, while keeping Glasgow and the wider region moving throughout the event. It will be sustainable, inclusive and accessible at all points.

Glasgow is the perfect place to host a sustainable and inclusive COP.

It has a proven track record of hosting events on the international stage, such as the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2018 Glasgow European Gymnastic Championships.

Protecting the health of both the participants at COP26 and the local community of Glasgow is foremost in our minds as we plan the event and we continue to explore all available options to achieve this.
