Mental health and wellbeing during COVID-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic it is more important than ever to take care of your mental health and wellbeing. There is a number of places you can go online for information on looking after yourself and others.

Clear Your Head

The coronavirus outbreak has changed daily life for all of us and it's ok to not feel yourself. This Scottish Government website is a great place to go for tips on keeping active, clearing your head and connecting with others.

Samaritans offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need. As well as having a website section dedicated to mental health during the coronavirus pandemic, their Brew Monday campaign encourages people to share a virtual cuppa as a way to stay connected.

Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH)

SAMH is Scotland's national mental health charity. They have set up a coronavirus information hub, which gathers links and resources to help keep you informed and protect your mental health.

NHS inform

If you need help with a mental health crisis during the coronavirus pandemic, visit NHS inform to find out about the full range of support available and how you can access it.

Ready Scotland

The winter months are a tough time for many, and this year could be harder than most. As well mental health support, the Ready Scotland website has information on how you can get involved in existing community projects or even if you want to start something new.
