A9 Dualling: Luncarty to Pass of Birnam – Works on B867 and C408 at Bankfoot

Update

The plant crossing is now expected to come into operation on the C408 at Bankfoot North Junction on Monday 23 March, for approximately 10 weeks.

Original traffic management

Road users should be aware that temporary traffic signals will be in place on the B867 and C408 on approach to Bankfoot from Monday 16 March.

To facilitate ongoing works for the new Hunters Lodge Underbridge extension, a temporary plant crossing will be put in place on the C408 to safely transport material across the C408. This operation is expected to commence from Monday 16 March, for approximately 10 weeks.

Traffic signals will be in operation from:

  • 7:30am-6pm Monday to Friday
  • 8am-1pm on Saturday

The traffic signals will be manually controlled to minimise disruption to traffic.

In addition, two-way temporary traffic signals will be in place on the B867 for two days on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 March, south of the access to Taste Perthshire.

These works are weather dependent and may be postponed at short notice.

Please approach the Bankfoot area with care, follow instructions given on the temporary signage and allow extra time for your journey.
