A90 Forth Road Bridge to Admiralty
All traffic has now been diverted onto a revised route through the works between the Forth Road Bridge and the Ferrytoll area. This new route runs between the existing A90 adjacent to the temporary slip for Inverkeithing/North Queensferry/Port of Rosyth and the new mainline carriageways which then pass over Ferrytoll Junction.
Abnormal loads heading southbound on M90 for FRB should refer to the temporary arrangements currently in place as described on the Forth Road Bridge website.
The above traffic arrangements will remain in place until the opening of the Queensferry Crossing although there may be other minor changes of route for mainline traffic in the nearby area, any changes will be advised at the appropriate time.
Overnight closures are planned for the northbound A90 between Ferrytoll and Admiralty, from 26 June for up to 10 nights.
These are planned to take place between 8pm and 6am each night. During the closures traffic will be diverted from the northbound A90 at Ferrytoll Junction and directed to Admiralty Junction via Milne Road, Castle Road and the A985.
These overnight closures are scheduled while works are completed at height over the carriageway. However, as the works progress the overnight diversion will be reduced to leaving the A90 northbound on the off-slip for Ferrytoll but then re-joining the A90 via the new northbound on-slip.
On completion, similar works will be carried out for the southbound carriageway.
