Overnight traffic management on A9 northbound from Bankfoot South Junction

We advise road users on the A9 northbound to take care on approach to the A9 Dualling: Luncarty to Pass of Birnam project, as the northbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for 12 nights from Monday 18 October 2021, commencing on the first night at Bankfoot South Junction.

The A9 northbound carriageway lane closure will be in place from 8:30pm to 6am each night to allow BT cabling works in the road verge to be undertaken safely, as part of the finishing works for the project.

The traffic management will commence on approach to the new Bankfoot South Junction on the first night for approximately 1.2 km and progress north each night until the BT cabling works are completed at the northern extent of the project.

Road users are advised to allow additional time for your journey and take care on approach to the works area.

The planned traffic management is weather dependent and subject to change, therefore, please refer to Traffic Scotland for live traffic up-dates - www.trafficscotland.org.
