Accounts Payable and Administration Support Officers

Transport Scotland is recruiting for two Accounts Payable & Administration Support Officers to be responsible for facilitating payments within Transport Scotland.

The post forms part of an Accounts Payable Team which comprises 5 team members who are responsible for the raising of Purchase Orders, the payment of invoices, assisting with the maintenance of Scottish Government Payment Performance targets and the provision of general Accounts Payable advice across all Transport Scotland Directorates.

Transport Scotland is the national transport agency for Scotland and is accountable to Parliament and the public through Scottish Ministers, with a budget of around £3.5 billion per year. Transport is a vital feature of the Scottish Government's focus on increasing sustainable economic growth, and transport investments and policies have major impacts on the economy, people, and the environment.
