Drivers are being warned to expect lengthy delays on the A737, east of Dalry, as a result of preparatory works for the new bypass.
Minister for Transport and the Islands Humza Yousaf has today marked the start of a £31.2 million project to construct a bypass at Dalry.
Road users will welcome news that a much anticipated A737 upgrade has taken a step forward with a contract notice inviting bids from construction companies.
