A9 Dualling scheme on public display

Locals and road users will get the chance next week to see design refinements to the Killiecrankie to Glen Garry dualling scheme.

At the same time, the results of recent archaeological investigations on the Killiecrankie battlefield will be on display.
Public information events are being held in Killiecrankie Village Hall on 31 October and 1 November.

A Transport Scotland spokesperson said:

“We have been progressing the design work for the Killiecrankie to Glen Garry dualling scheme and last November we published the draft Orders and Environmental Statement for the scheme.

“Following feedback, a number of design refinements have been made to the scheme and these can be viewed at the events.

“We have also carried out further archaeological investigations on the battlefield site and information on these will also be on display next week.

“We would encourage anyone with an interest in the scheme to come along next week to one of the events.”
