Ardrossan Harbour Taskforce

Commenting after chairing the second meeting of the Ardrossan Harbour Taskforce, Minister for Transport and the Islands Humza Yousaf said:

“I was very pleased to chair the second meeting of the Ardrossan Harbour Taskforce and get an update from partners on how the group’s work is progressing.

“The discussions were very informative, helping us to continue to assess the options available to upgrade the facilities at Ardrossan and ultimately accommodate the new vessel currently being built at Ferguson Marine Engineering Ltd.

“Work will continue between now and the next meeting later this year, with a technical subgroup being set up to ensure all partners share resources and information efficiently and allow the work to be carried out as quickly as possible.”
