Haudagain roundabout improvements - upcoming lane closures

Weekend lane closures on A92 North Anderson Drive

A92 road users are advised that there will be one lane closed in both directions on the A92 North Anderson Drive at the Haudagain Roundabout for four consecutive weekends beginning Friday 24 July.

The lane closures will commence at 7 pm each Friday evening until 7 am each Monday morning, to allow continuous 24 hour working during these periods.

In addition, during this period, one lane on the southbound carriageway of the A92 North Anderson Drive will remain closed from 27 July for approximately 10 days.

These closures will allow preparatory work to be undertaken to construct the new link road junction and essential utility work in the area.

A Transport Scotland spokesperson said:

“The works being undertaken on the A92 North Anderson Drive are necessary to progress the improvement project and  have been planned to minimise disruption to road users as much as possible.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank the public for their continued patience and co-operation. We would ask drivers to approach the area with caution and continue to be mindful of the safety of our workforce as you drive though this area."

The project will, upon completion, help to reduce congestion and improve journey time reliability on this key route, as well as providing a safer route for pedestrians and cyclists.
