Progress on A737 Road schemes

At the same time, the design work for the A737 The Den scheme is being taken forward.

Transport Minister Derek Mackay said:

“Following the go ahead for the A737 Dalry Bypass scheme, we are now progressing the design work for this important scheme with a view to publishing Made Orders in the next few months.

“At the same time, we are working towards publishing the Made Orders for the nearby A737 The Den scheme. We are determined to deliver these schemes which will bring lasting benefits to North Ayrshire.

“Further progress on both these schemes will then be subject to funding being provided as part of the forthcoming Spending Review.”
