Shawhead contraflow and slip road closures over one weekend

This will start at 8pm on Friday 9 June and finish at 8pm on Sunday 11 June 2017.

The contraflow will reduce traffic to a single lane running north and south between Kirkshaws Road, Coatbridge, and where the A725 crosses the A8.

The slip road closure means drivers looking to access Shawhead from the A8 eastbound should continue to Eurocentral junction and return west on the A8 to Shawhead junction.

Drivers on the A725 looking to travel east on the A8 should first divert west to Bargeddie junction and return east on the A8.

This traffic management is required for road surfacing and finishing works.
