Status update – 15 December 2016

The contractor agreed a comprehensive schedule of remedial works in early 2016 with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) to provide additional protection for watercourses during the construction phase of the project. These works are now complete and the contractor is continuing to monitor watercourses throughout the site, while maintaining regular dialogue with SEPA. Transport Scotland takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and will work closely with the contractor to ensure that it is able to meet its obligations.
