A9 Ballinluig Junction improvements

What's involved?

Two bridges were built over the railway to provide access to a new roundabout delivering safe access to all routes.

Project benefits

This project improved road safety at an accident black spot as it removed the need for vehicles to cross the A9 to access the village. Southbound travellers continue to enter the junction as before.

Impact on travel

Journeys along the A9 through the Ballinluig area are safer and quicker due to the increase to the speed limit.
