Vulnerability of the project to risks

Construction activities are confined to the carriageway boundary and immediate verges and are required to improve safety in the area. This will reduce the risk of major accidents or environmental disasters that could negatively impact the surrounding environment.

Upgrading road signs, construction of signalised crossing, and vegetation removal for road clarity will decrease the likelihood of serious accidents.

It has been determined that the project is not expected to alter the vulnerability of the existing trunk road infrastructure to risk of major accidents or disasters.
