Assessment of cumulative effects

The Scottish Road Works Commissioner's Interactive Map does not highlight any other works in the area at the time of construction.

South Ayrshire Council’s Planning Portal has identified the following works that may be undertaken during the proposed timescale within close proximity to the location of the works:

• Application reference 26/00350/PNF relates to a prior notification for farm-related non-residential building works at Wellholme Cottage, Crossraguel Kirkoswald South Ayrshire KA19 8HH. Due to the nature and scale (e.g. minor, low-risk and localised) of the development in application reference 26/00350/PNF, no impacts with regard to cumulative effects with the proposed scheme are anticipated.

Amey’s current programme of works has not highlighted any other works on the A77 that will be undertaken in conjunction with the scheme. 

No other nearby schemes which may result in a combined effect on nearby receptors have been identified.

Any future schemes will be programmed to take into account already programmed works, and as such any effect (such as from TM arrangements and potential construction noise) will be limited.
