Assessments of the environmental effects

Following assessment as detailed within this Record of Determination, and provided that mitigation measures are in place and best practice is followed, there will be no significant effects on the environment.

The following environmental surveys/reviews have been undertaken:

An Environmental Scoping Assessment of the scheme, undertaken by the Amey Environment Team in September 2026.
The Amey Environment team has contacted South Ayrshire Council’s Environmental Health Team to notify of the works due to night-time programming in September 2026. No comments/recommendations have been provided by South Ayrshire Council.
Historic Environment Scotland (HES) was notified of the works on 8^th September 2026. No comments/recommendations have been provided by HES at the time of writing.
A Preliminary Ecological Walkover (PEW) and PEW report was undertaken by the Amey Environment Team in July 2026.
