Assessments of the environmental effects
Following assessment as detailed within this Record of Determination, and provided that mitigation measures are in place and best practice is followed, the residual impact is deemed neutral and there will be no significant effects on the environment.
The following environmental surveys/reviews/consultations have been undertaken:
- Environmental Scoping Assessment (ESA) undertaken by Amey’s Environmental Team in February 2026.
- Consultation was undertaken with the Marine directorate in February 2026 regarding the proximity of the works to MHWS. Their advice confirmed that, provided all activities remain above the MHWS level, a marine licence is not required.
