Preferred route plan

An aerial photograph of Glen Croe with north extending to the right. The Preferred Route is shown broadly along the line of the existing A83 which runs left to right across the image, with the Old Military Road also running broadly left to right, above the line of the A83. The debris flow shelter and catchpit starts in the vicinity of the Croe Water on the left hand side, and extends approximately 1.4km to the right where the catchpit will extend a further 180m. An improved junction to the B828 Glen Mhor Road is shown on the right hand side.
