Vulnerability of the project to risks
Road collision risk has been considered, and traffic management is anticipated to comprise the closure of the A9 northbound off-slip to reduce this risk.
Flood risk has been considered and with mitigation measures included it is anticipated that any flooding impacts associated with the proposed scheme are unlikely to be significant.
A SEMP has been produced by BEAR Scotland which sets out a framework to reduce the risk of adverse impacts from construction activities on sensitive environmental receptors. The Contractor will comply with all conditions of the SEMP during works and may be subject to audit throughout the contract.
The vulnerability of the project to risks of major accidents and disasters is considered to be low.
