In September 2025, we held public exhibitions to present the findings of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) Stage 1 Assessment and asked for your feedback on early route options developed as part of the DMRB Stage 2 Assessment.

Since then, Transport Scotland and its technical advisors, Jacobs, have been progressing early DMRB Stage 2 Assessment work, taking into consideration feedback received to date and the findings of various surveys and consultations.

This exhibition presents an update on the ongoing DMRB Stage 2 design development and assessment work and we are seeking your feedback. We will take all feedback into account as we continue to develop our plans.
