Assessments of the environmental effects
Following assessment detailed within this Record of Determination, and assuming appropriate mitigation and best practice are applied the residual impact is considered minor however, no significant effects on the environment are anticipated.
The following environmental surveys/reviews/consultations have been undertaken:
- Environmental Scoping Assessment (ESA) undertaken by Amey’s Environmental Team in April 2026.
- A Preliminary Ecological Walkover (PEW) undertaken by Amey’s Ecology Team in May 2026.
- Due to nighttime programming, South Lanarkshire Council Consultation undertaken by Amey’s Environmental Team in April 2026.
Habitats Regulation Appraisal (HRA) Stage 1 undertaken by Amey’s Ecology Team in May 2026.
