Assessments of the environmental effects

The M9 Forth Expansion Joint Replacement scheme lies directly above the River Teith SAC and as such, a HRA has been undertaken. The HRA has assessed that there is sufficient information to conclude that the proposed scheme, with the implementation of mitigation, will not result in any AESI to the River Teith SAC.

As detailed in the Description of Main Environmental Impacts and Proposed Mitigation section, there are no significant effects anticipated on any environmental receptors as a result of the proposed works.
