Supplementary data tables

Two sets of supplementary Excel tables are available to download alongside this publication. These tables provide the data underlying the analysis presented in the report, together with additional detail and contextual information that is not included in the main publication.

Summary tables

This set of tables provides a high-level overview of key findings and trends, including headline figures and summary breakdowns.

This includes breakdowns of collisions and casualties by severity, casualties by type of road, casualties by mode of transport, and child casualties, including trends in recent years and progress towards the casualty reduction targets for the year 2030. Figures by police force division and local authority are also included.

Detailed tables

This set of tables provides more detailed breakdowns of the data, including analyses by characteristics such as severity, mode of transport, road type, age, sex, geography, and other relevant categories where available.

This set also includes more detailed international comparisons, estimates of collision costs, and drink drive collisions.
