Previous Minutes and Actions

The minutes of the previous meeting on 01 December 2025 were agreed as an accurate record of discussion and have been published on the Transport Scotland website. Most actions from the previous meeting were complete, however the outstanding asks are;

Police Scotland to provide an update on the RTDC, specifically once the legislation is in place what are the next steps and their accompanying timeline.

Update: Dedicated project team continued to progress, with significant discussions regarding the legislative requirements to introduce these courses in Scotland.

Police Scotland to provide members with a timeline and key steps for the Journey Cam and further explanation on the biometric data mentioned.

Update: The project team is continuing to work through various ongoing matters regarding the back office function. However, members are reminded that DESC is currently in place which allows members of the public to upload footage of poor road user behaviour after it has been reported to the police and a specific upload link has been provided.
