Introduction
To monitor the road safety initiatives undertaken by partners that contribute to the delivery of the Road Safety Framework to 2030 (RSF2030), we committed to publishing annual reports and delivery plans throughout the lifetime of the framework.
As noted in previous publications, these documents are now combined and published under the title Annual Progress Report & Delivery Plan. This approach provides a comprehensive overview of progress made during the reporting year, alongside planned activity for the year ahead.
This publication reports on the specific deliverables progressed by the framework's governance groups and partner organisations to support the implementation of RSF2030. It highlights work undertaken during 2025/26 and outlines the deliverables and activities planned for 2026/27.
The report continues to focus on actions that address immediate, emerging and longer-term road safety challenges, helping to reduce casualties and improve road safety outcomes across Scotland. As delivery progresses, timescales and activities may be refined to reflect emerging evidence, changing priorities and evolving casualty trends. Any significant updates will be reflected in future annual publications.

- Deliverable details, including actions completed during 2025/26 and/or planned activity for 2026/27
Together, these deliverables demonstrate the collective commitment of Scotland's road safety partners to reducing deaths and serious injuries on Scotland's roads and progressing towards the national casualty reduction targets set out in RSF2030.
