39. In line with the approach set out in the Framework, we are working with our road safety partners to help us achieve these targets through their own local and organisational contributions. In common with many of our colleagues across the public sector we are continuing to do the work within the context of severe financial constraints. Many of our Road Safety Partners will also be experiencing change and reorganization. As a result, there has been a period of uncertainty for some colleagues. We acknowledge that the work of our Road Safety Officers in Scotland has been key to achieving our progress in casualty reduction over the years. Road Safety will continue to need that commitment and expertise in the future. The Framework encourages us to become more efficient in the way we deliver, in the sharing of best practice and in harnessing the energy and innovation of our partners. In this way we are committed to continuing our casualty reduction in Scotland in 2013 and beyond.
