Weekly Update

Directors provided brief high level updates on the work in their Directorates.

Risk

DS asked SMT if they had any questions around resources and the challenges coming from this.

SMT discussed resourcing to meet priorities and the need to continue to work together on this. There was further discussion on succession planning, how this is being captured as an issue on the risk register and it was agreed this should be looked at in more detail at the Risk Management group meeting. SMT discussed the ongoing work on reprioritisation and will continue to have conversations with unit heads and feed this into Business Plans.

Corporate Dashboard

SW advised there are no issues with correspondence and we continue to hit 100% on FOIs. A paper is being prepared in relation to allocation of FOIs when they are cross directorate and will be circulated.

SW advised there had been a reduction in travel costs. SMT asked if information could be provided on what this looks like in relation to carbon reduction.

SMT were advised that we are now able to use Car club from Enterprise.

Budget

GS provided an update on the 24/25 year end spend. They are currently working through the spend controls in place for 25/26.

People Plan

It was agreed DS would share the TS people plan with Directors for comment and follow up with a discussion on the updated version and reporting mechanisms at next June corporate SMT.

AOB
