Welcome and Updates

AI welcomed attendees to the meeting and provided an update on progress with the strategic papers for incoming Ministers. These are coming together, and a timeline developed by MD will be shared once reviewed by AI.

It was noted that the TS Chief Executive will be on call over the weekend. TS SLT members agreed to remain available should AI need to contact them.

PY reminded the SLT that the refreshed IDM Guidance had been circulated for comment and asked Directors to provide updates as soon as possible.

SC provided a brief update from the recent DG meeting.

FB advised that a workshop on fuel issues will take place next Thursday. Invitations will be issued shortly, and SLT members were asked to ensure appropriate representation from their Directorates.

People Survey Action Plan

AI welcomed RD to the meeting. MC and RD presented their Directorate Action Plan in response to their People Survey results.

AI thanked them for the helpful and informative presentation and invited discussion. The SLT agreed that it was valuable to share this work.

Actions and next steps

  • MC to engage with the TS Equality and Diversity Group.
  • HR to explore the feasibility of introducing pulse surveys.
