4. CONCLUSION

The tasks for 2008/09 set out in this Business Plan are part of our ongoing and ambitious programme to deliver an efficient, cost-effective and sustainable transport system in Scotland based on the four Delivery Priorities set out in our Corporate Plan 2008-2011.

By the end of the year we will have completed a number of key road and rail projects and initiated and taken forward many others, all helping to deliver the Government’s Purpose of increasing sustainable economic growth.

Details of our progress will be set out in our Annual Report and Accounts 08/09.
