Climate risks to the Trunk Road
The TRN is highly vulnerable to climate related hazards and is already experiencing the impacts of climate change, with more frequent instances of weather-related disruption and increasing levels of damage to TRN infrastructure.
The TRAP presents key interventions and recommendations to increase the climate resilience of the TRN. A total of 45 recommendations have been developed, founded on a climate vulnerability and risk assessment using the latest UK Climate Change Projections (UKCP18).
