This document is the Non-Technical Summary (NTS) of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) for the A9 Dualling: Pass of Birnam to Tay Crossing.

Public Exhibitions are being held for the A9 Dualling Pass of Birnam to Tay Crossing project, to present the draft Orders, including the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO), and Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) for the proposed scheme, which were published on 30 May 2025.

This Consultation Report provides details of the consultation process and summarises key findings and feedback received from the public.

The report is an analytical report, updating on the baseline position of measures which track the progress of the National Transport Strategy. As such, the report will include statistical information which will be represented in tables, graphs and graphics.

This fourth Delivery Plan contains transport commitments that are being actioned over 2024 and 2025.

To achieve Transport Scotland's Vision for Scotland's public electric vehicle charging network, the draft Implementation Plan is a forward-looking framework document that collates activities that are already, or will in the future, be undertaken by a wide range of stakeholders, including the Scottish Government.

The Scheme Assessment Report, draft Orders and Environmental Impact Assessment for the A83 Rest and Be Thankful Medium Term Solution were published on 13 December 2024. The Statutory Consultation Period closes on 7 February 2025.

The purpose of the EIA is to investigate the likely effects of the Proposed Scheme on the environment, people, communities and businesses.
