The A6091/A7 Trunk Road (Borders General Hospital) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 201[]

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they propose to make the above speed limit Order under sections 84(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have the effect of imposing a 50mph speed limit on that length of the A6091/A7 Melrose – Galashiels – Carlisle Trunk Road from a point 40 metres or thereby west of the centre point of the Broomilees Road Overbridge in an easterly direction to a point 28 metres or thereby east of the centre line of the Chiefswood Road Overpass, a distance of 818 metres or thereby.

Full details of the proposal are contained in the Order which, together with a plan showing the length of road involved, and a statement of the Scottish Ministers’ reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined free of charge during normal business hours from 26 October 2017 until 27 November 2017 at the offices of
