The A77 Trunk Road (Ballantrae) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2019

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic from waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the M77/A77 Glasgow – Stranraer Trunk Road being the north and southbound carriageway from a point 50 metres north of its northern junction with Church Street to a point 50 metres south of its junction with The Vennel, Ballantrae, a total distance of 235 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to allow access to underground structure – cabling will be in operation from 13 August until 14 August 2019 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. 

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
