The A82 Trunk Road (Falls of Falloch) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2020

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will have the effect of imposing a 30mph speed restriction on that length of the A82 Dalnottar-Inverness Trunk Road at Falls of Falloch from a point 800 metres or thereby south of the Falls of Falloch car park entrance to a point 800 metres or thereby north of the Falls of Falloch car park entrance a distance of 1600 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required for safety reasons will be in operation from 14 July until 30 September 2020 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations; or vehicles being used in an emergency for coastguard purposes.
