The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic and imposing a 30mph speed restriction on that length of the A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road from a point about 5.5 kilometres or thereby west of its junction with the ZC1094 Glen Etive Road in a generally westwards direction to a point about 9.3 kilometres or thereby west of the said ZC1094 Glen Etive Road Junction, a distance of 3.8 kilometres or thereby.

The restrictions will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle while being used for carrying out the works.

The speed restriction does not apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations or vehicles being used in an emergency for coastguard purposes.
