The A82 Trunk Road (Glencoe) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) Order 2018
The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and 2, 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of :
- The A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road from a point about 1.2 kilometres or thereby southeast of its junction with the ZC1094 Glen Etive Road junction in a generally southeastwards direction to a point about 4.8 kilometres or thereby southeastwards of the said ZC1094 Glen Etive Road junction, a distance of 3.6 kilometres or thereby.
- The A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road from a point about 5.1 kilometres or thereby west of its junction with the ZC1094 Glen Etive Road junction in a generally westwards direction to a point about 8.3 kilometres or thereby west of the ZC1094 Glen Etive Road junction, a distance of 3.2 kilometres or thereby.
The Order, which is required to facilitate filming on the road, will be in operation from 8 September until 9 September 2018 it is anticipated the closure will be in operation for periods of up to 2 minutes every 20 minutes during the hours of 07:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs.
The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes.
