The A82 Trunk Road (Glendoe Road, Fort Augustus) (Temporary Vehicle Width Restriction) Order 2017

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road from a point 4.3 kilometres or thereby northeast of its junction with the B862 Glendoe Road, Fort Augustus in a north eastwards direction to a point 6.3 kilometres or thereby northeast of that junction with the B862 Glendoe Road, Fort Augustus, a distance of 2 kilometres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate resurfacing works will be in operation from the 18th June 2017 until the 4th July 2017. The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, coastguard, ambulance or police purposes or vehicles being used to carry out the works but will only have effect in relation to such lengths of road as indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
