The A82 Trunk Road (Inverness) (20mph and 30mph Speed Limits) Order 2025

The Scottish Ministers hereby give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (c) and 124(1)(d) of and paragraph 27 schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is as described in the Inverness Courier and The Edinburgh Gazette, dated 25 March 2025 Issue number 29096. The Order comes into force on Wednesday 25 June 2025.

A copy of the Order as made and the relevant plan may be inspected free of charge until 24 July 2025 at Inverness Library, 5 Margaret Street, Inverness, IV1 1NH and Café Artysans, 7 Strothers Lane, Inverness, IV1 1LR and at the office of Transport Scotland, 177 Bothwell Street Glasgow G2 7ER.

UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 Compatibility Consideration and Narration of Statement of Compatibility

In accordance with section 23(2) of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 (the Act), the Scottish Ministers certify that, in their view, the A82 Trunk Road (Inverness) (20mph and 30mph Speed Limits) Order 2025 is compatible with the UNCRC requirements as defined by section 1(2) of the Act.
