The A82 Trunk Road (Onich) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and 2, 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road in Onich from a point about 875 metres or thereby south east of its junction with the ZU2545 Cuilcheanna Road, Onich at the access to Onich Tearoom in an easterly direction to a point 925 metres or thereby south east of its junction with the ZU2545 Cuilcheanna Road, Onich, a distance of 50 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate repairs to defective Scottish Water ironwork and to enable the works to be carried out safely, will be in operation from 6 September until 8 September 2018 but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
