The A828 Trunk Road (Kentallen to Ledaig) (Temporary Vehicle Width Restriction) (No. 2) Order 2017

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1), 14(1)(a) and (4), 124(1)(d) and paragraph 27 of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting vehicles over 2.4 metres in width on that length of the A828 Connel – South Ballachulish Trunk Road from a point 320 metres or thereby north of its junction with Cameron Brae, Kentallen in a generally southwards direction to a point about 500 metres north of its junction with the access road leading to North Ledaig Caravan Park, Ledaig, a distance of 34.2 kilometres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate resurfacing works will be in force between 27 September to 3 October 2017, and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, coastguard, ambulance or police purposes; or a vehicle being used to carry out the works.

Revocation

The A828 Trunk Road (Kentallen to Ledaig) (Temporary Vehicle Width Restriction) Order 2017  is revoked by this order.
