The A83 Trunk Road (Hall Street, Campbeltown) (Temporary Prohibitions of Traffic) Order 2017

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting use of road and waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown Trunk Road in Campeltown known as Hall Street from the roundabout at the junction of Main Street, Kinloch Road, Hall Street and Old Quay Street, in a south easterly direction to its junction with New Quay Roundabout, Campbeltown, a distance of 325 metres or thereby.

The order, which is required to facilitate abnormal load movements will be in operation from 31 July 2017 until 3 August 2017, but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes.
