The A83 Trunk Road (Inveraray) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) (No. 2) Order 2019

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown Trunk Road from a point 150 metres or thereby northeast of its southernmost junction with The Avenue, Inveraray in a generally north easterly direction along Main Street South, Main Street West and Main Street East, then in a north westerly direction along Front Street East to its northernmost junction with The Avenue, Inveraray, a distance of 325 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate the Inveraray Remembrance Parade will be in operation from 10 November until 11 November 2019. It is anticipated that the restrictions will be in place for approximately 20 minutes and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for facilitating the holding of the relevant event.
