The A83 Trunk Road (Inveraray) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) Order 2018
The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order temporarily prohibiting traffic on the following lengths of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown Trunk Road –
- That length of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown Trunk Road from its junction with the A815 Dunoon Road in a generally easterly and southeasterly direction to its junction with the B828 Lochgoilhead Road, a distance of 7 kilometres or thereby.
- That length of the A83 Tarbet – Lochgilphead – Campbeltown Trunk Road from a point 150 metres or thereby northeast of its junction with The Avenue, Inveraray in a generally northeast direction in Main Street South, Main Street West and Main Street East, Inveraray to its junction with Front Street East, Inveraray, a distance of 250 metres or thereby.
The Order, which is required to facilitate filming on the trunk road will be in operation from 6 June 2018 until 8 June 2018 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes; connection with the filming on the road; connection with the placing of the required signage.
Alternative routes
An alternative route for traffic during the prohibition is not required.
