The A830 Trunk Road (Glenfinnan) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1), 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will have the effect of temporarily prohibiting waiting on that length of the A830 Fort William - Mallaig Trunk Road (Glenfinnan) from a point 2.858 kilometres or thereby south-east of the point where it meets the extended centreline of the U1191 Glenfinnan Pier Road (Slatach) in a north-west, west then north-west direction to a point 2.016 kilometres or thereby west of the point where it meets the extended centreline of the U5397 Torr An Eas, Glenfinnan Road, a distance of 6.008 kilometres or thereby.

The Order, which is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public, will be in operation from 21st March until 21st September 2024 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes.
