The A830 Trunk Road (Shlatach Rail Bridge Replacement) (Trunking) Order 201[ ]

Notice is hereby given, that the Scottish Ministers propose to make the following Orders:

1. The A830 Trunk Road (Shlatach Rail Bridge Replacement) (Trunking) Order 201[ ] under section 5(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, the general effect of which will be to provide for the construction of new trunk road at Shlatach Rail Bridge in the vicinity of Glenfinnan, Inverness.
2. The A830 Trunk Road (Shlatach Rail Bridge Replacement) (Side Roads) Order 201[ ] under sections 12(1), (5) and 70(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, the general effect of which will be to provide for the stopping up of existing roads, stopping up of a private accesses and the provision of a new means of access when the new trunk road is opened for the purposes of through traffic.

A copy of the proposed Orders and accompanying plans may be inspected, free of charge until 14 March 2019 during normal business hours at the offices of Transport Scotland, 5th Floor Reception, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF; The Highland Council, Charles Kennedy Building, Achintore Road, Fort William, PH33 6TZ and Arisaig Post Office, The Spar, The Harbour, Arisaig, PH39 4NH.

Any person may object to the making of the Orders by notice in writing to The Director of Roads, c/o Karl McAreavey, Transport Scotland, 4th Floor, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF quoting reference NW/A830/SHLATACH/KM by the 14th March 2019. Objections should state the title of the Order, the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
