The A84 Trunk Road (Cambusmore) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road and Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2019

The Scottish Governments give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1) and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of the Order temporarily prohibiting traffic and imposing a 30mph speed restriction on that length of the A84/A85 Stirling - Crianlarich Trunk Road from its access to the property known as “Straid” in a generally northwestwards direction to a point 665 metres or thereby south of its junction with the access road to Keltie Bridge Caravan Park, Callander, a distance of 600 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate filming on the road, will be in operation from 22 April until 12 May 2019 it is anticipated the closure will be for several minutes at a time and will be carried out at off peak times and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
