The A84/A85 Trunk Road (Ancaster Square, Callander) (Temporary Prohibition On Use of Road) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on the A84/A85 Stirling - Crianlarich Trunk Road from the eastmost junction with Ancaster Square, Callander in a generally north-westwards direction to a point about 75 metres or thereby northwest of its junction with Station Road, Callander, a distance of 300 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate the Callander Fisheries Parade 2018 and to allow members of the public to participate in the event, will be in operation from 1 February 2018 until 2 February 2018 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

It is anticipated the restrictions will be in force for no more than 60 minutes.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire service, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for facilitating the holding of the relevant event.

Alternative Routes

The alternative routes for traffic are not required as traffic will be held until the Parade has cleared.
