The A85 Trunk Road (Comrie) (Temporary Prohibition on Use, Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2020

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting use, waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A85 Perth – Lochearnhead Trunk Road from a point at its junction with Nurses Lane, Comrie in a general south westerly direction along Drummond Street, Comrie to a point approximately 65 metres or thereby west of its junction with Bridge Street at Dunira Street, Comrie a distance of 320 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate investigation works which are being or are proposed to be executed on or near that length of road will be in operation from 21 - 24 October 2020. It is anticipated that the restrictions will be place between 9:30am and 4pm each day during this period. Pedestrians access will be maintained at all times and restrictions will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes, or vehicles while being used for carrying out the works.
